Designing Spaces for Psychological Wellbeing
Humans spend over 90% of our lives indoors. As a result, the environments we inhabit reflect how we project feelings of comfort, safety and connection with others, and the world around us. The problem is that built environments don’t always reflect the natural surroundings we evolved to inhabit, and as a bi-product, our health suffers.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss topics such as sensory design, Biophilia, designing for neurodiversity, and how to activate neurochemicals that foster collaboration and aid psychological wellbeing.
You’ll come away with a series of actionable steps towards putting health and wellbeing at the heart of human-centric design.
